Riders under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted on the boat or in the water.
Parents and Legal Guardians are responsible for the supervision of their minors at all times both in and out of the water.
All riders must wear a Coast Guard approved life vest at all times. A life vest will be provided for you at no charge.
Any participant younger than 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian complete the liability release form for the minor.
If a parent or legal guardian is not able to sign the release in the presence of a Lake Blue Ridge Water Sports employee, the release must be notarized in the space provided on the liability release form. If a legal guardian is completing the release, official notarized proof of legal guardianship papers must be also provided.
Persons with medical conditions or prior injuries including those of the back or neck should check with their physician before participating in water sports.
Hold the rope handle in your hands. Never put it around your neck or other parts of your body. If you fall, never try to grab a dragging rope.
If you fall, look around immediately to see if another rider or rope is approaching.
Do not approach or hit any obstacles if the landing area is not clear of other riders, swimmers, or other hazards.
Always remember to avoid risk to yourself and others.
If in doubt, drop the rope and let yourself fall.
